MRS. SUSIE COLLINS, MOTHER-IN-LAW OF RETIRED SERGEANT S. F. SMALL HAS PASSED AWAY. VISITATION WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9TH, FROM 6:00-7:30 P.M. AT ANTIOCH FREEWILL BAPTIST CHURCH, ANTIOCH RD, SALISBURY. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL FOLLOW THE VISITATION AT 7:30 P.M. AT THE CHURCH.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE HELD 11:00 AM FRIDAY AT THE NATIONAL CEMETERY, NEW BERN, NC.

IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, DONATIONS CAN BE MADE TO THE ALZHEIMER’S SOCIETY.

Lucille Wooten fell early this morning (9-6-2010) and broke her left hip.  She was transported to Forsyth Memorial Hospital, Winston-Salem, NC.  She is scheduled for surgery Wednesday 9-8-2010.  Family will furnish location, address and phone number immediately following surgery.  Cards may be sent to 148 Grey Street, Mocksville, NC 27028.

Retired Trooper Thomas "Mike" Bass is in Rex Hospital, Raleigh, NC being treated for a serious infection following back surgery about 2 months ago.  He is in room 6102, Phone number 919-784-3855.
