District E-1
Retirees in Troop E, District 1 meet the first Wednesday of every month at 9:30 AM. They get together at Jimmy's BBQ. The restaurant is located at the intersection of NC 8 and I-85. All retirees are welcomed and the group would love to have you stop in and share a meal. Contact Roy Holman at 336.746.5558 for further information.
Granville, Vance, Franklin and Warren Counties
Meet the second Tuesday of each month for lunch. They meet at Bob's BBQ in Butner and a local restaurant on Dabney Drive, Henderson. The meeting starts at 11:00 AM and runs until 1:00 PM. Contact Cliff Walker at 252.492.9286 or Jimmy Waugh at 919.693.7926 for more information.
Forsyth and Stokes County SHP Retirees
Meet for breakfast at the K & W cafeteria on University Parkway in Winston-Salem, the first Tuesday of each month at 9:30 AM. They encourage all SHP retirees to attend. For more information, contact John Lanier at: jlanier8@triad.rr.com
Rowan County Retirees'
Meet the second Saturday of each month for breakfast at Eureka Masonic Lodge, 604 East Church Street, China Grove, NC 28023 (turn off US-29 between Hardees and the BP station and go west for 1 block). We meet at 8:30am on the Lodge side away from the public. It's a buffet breakfast (all you can eat) for $6.00 per person. Bring your spouse. If you need further information contact Harold D. Union County Retired Law Enforcement Officers (UCLEO)
We meet the first Wednesday of the month for breakfast. We meet at the Palace Restaurant on NC-220 south of Monroe (1000 Lancaster Avenue). The meeting begins at 7:30 AM and is usually over by 8:30 AM. You order from the menu which ranges from sandwiches to a full blown meal. Kinston A/7 District, Lenoir, Jones, & Greene Counties
Troop A, District 7 retirees meet at Kings BBQ Restaurant 910 W. Vernon Avenue, Kinston, NC. This is an annual meeting each April for active and retired that have ever worked in the Kinston A/7 District, Lenoir, Jones, & Greene Counties. Alleghany, Ashe, Surry, Watauga, Wilkes and Yadkin Counties
A group of law enforcement retirees in 5 counties (Alleghany, Ashe, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin) meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. The meetings are scheduled in advance and will be held at different locations depending on the month and the host. Their Christmas and July meetings are held at night and are family affairs.
